 The agenda was dealt with in the following order.

 

Meeting started at 9:30am.

1.   Apologies Ngā Whakapāha  

Apologies received from Councillor Harrison-Hunt and Councillor Coker.

Councillor Johanson and Councillor Donovan attending via teams.

Councillor Fields arrived late at 9:36am.

Councillor Donovan left Teams at 9:50am.

Councillor Harrison-Hunt was an apology however he attended online from 10:10am to 10:18am.

Councillor Gough left at 10:45am.

 

2.   Council submission on the Resource Management national direction packages

Presented by Mark Stevenson - Head of Planning & Consents and Ruohan Zhao - Senior Policy Analyst

·         Staff provided information about centra government Resource Management packages. The packages are enabling Infrastructure, Enabling primary sector, and freshwater management.

·         ACTION: To provide difference between New Zealand and Australia legislation with respect to providers sharing towers. (package one)

·         ACTION: To provide information about quarries and setbacks. (package two)

·         ACTION: Draft submission to be circulated later today.

·         This will go back to the Finance and Performance Committee on 23 July 2025.

·         Staff responded to Councillor questions.

 

3.   Plan Change Programme update
