Akaroa Information Centre

Kerry Little, Manager Heartlands, and Victoria Andrews, local resident, spoke to the Board giving an update on the Akaroa Information Centre. 

After questions, the Board thanked them for their presentation.

3.   New Zealand Police - Update

 

Inspector Peter Cooper, Area Commander Canterbury Rural and Rachel Walker, Area Response Manager Selwyn, spoke to the Board on behalf of the Police giving an update on local initiatives and statistics across Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula.  A discussion was held on the ongoing issue of anti-social road users' impact on the community, and the Police explained the challenges of catching the anti-social drivers.

After questions, the Board thanked them for their presentation.

The meeting adjourned at 10.50 am and reconvened at  11.00 am.

4.   Workshop - Draft Annual Plan 2025-26

 

The Board workshopped the formulation of the Board’s Draft Annual Plan 2025 -06 submission.

 

Tyrone Fields left the meeting at 11:23 pm during consideration of item 4.
