1.         Receives the information in the Proposed Temporary Road Closure for Akaroa Charter Parade Report.

2.         Authorises the approval of the temporary road closures for the Akaroa Charter Parade, proposed to be deployed from 8:30am to 12pm Thursday, 28 November 2024:

a.         Rue Brittan from Rue Lavaud to Akaroa boat ramp.

b.         Rue Lavaud from Rue Balguerie to Rue Benoit

4.   Proposed Road Closures  Coca Cola Christmas In The Park

 

Secretarial note: The Subcommittee added clause 3 to allow for a rain day contingency. Post meeting it was determined that this is not required due to logistics.

That the Road Closure Subcommittee:

1.         Receives the information in the Proposed Road Closures  Coca Cola Christmas In The Park Report.

2.         Authorises the approval of the temporary road closures for the Coca Cola Christmas in the Park, proposed to be deployed from 9pm to 11:30pm on 30 November 2024:

a.         Armagh Street from Cranmer Square West to Park Terrace

b.         Park Terrace from Chester Street West to Armagh Street

c.         Rolleston Avenue from Armagh Street to Gloucester Street

d.         Park Terrace from Bealey Avenue to Dorset Street.

3. Authorises a rain day (contingency) for the following day: 1 December 2024, subject to advertising requirements and no objections being received.

5.   Proposed Temporary Road Closure for Toitū Te Aho Matua

 

Committee Comment: the Subcommittee added clause 2.b. to reflect that the section of Oxford Terrace between Hereford Street and Cashel Street will be open from 8-10am to allow for delivery movements. After 10am traffic is restricted with the use of bollards.
