1. There were errors in the officer recommendations. “Friday” should have been omitted from clause 2a., and clause 2.b. should read from 10am. These are reflected in the Committee’s resolutions. 2. Emily Howie, Transport Manager, SailGP; Alex Corry, Head of Event Delivery NZ, SailGP; Natalie Fortier, Senior Communications Manager, SailGP and Rachel Dunford, Events Partnerships Advisor, CCC were in attendance for this item. |

Officer Recommendations Ngā Tūtohu That the Road Closure Subcommittee: 1. Receive the information in the Report. 2. Authorise the approval of the temporary road closures for the SailGP 2024 event, proposed to be deployed as listed below: a. From 10am to 7pm Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of March 2024: i. Colombo Street from the intersection of Armagh Street to 20m south of Armagh Street, and ii. Armagh Street from Colombo Street to Durham Street North, and iii. Oxford Terrace from Armagh Street to Gloucester Street. b. From 12pm to 8pm Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of March 2024: i. Godley Quay - From Voelas Road to End, and ii. Cyrus Williams Quay – Entire length, and iii. George Seymour Quay – Entire length, and iv. Charlotte Jane Quay – Entire length. |

Committee Resolved RCS/2024/00002 The Officer recommendations were accepted without change. Part C That the Road Closure Subcommittee: 1. Receive the information in the Report. 2. Authorise the approval of the temporary road closures for the events at Apollo Projects Stadium, proposed as follows: a. Jack Hinton Drive from Whiteleigh Avenue to Twigger Street, and b. Twigger Street from Jack Hinton Drive to Lincoln Road: i. From 2pm to 7pm Sunday, 18 February 2024 ii. From 5pm to 10pm Friday,15 March 2024 iii. From 6pm to 11pm Friday, 22 March 2024 iv. From 5pm to 10pm Friday, 29 March 2024 v. From 5pm to 10pm Friday, 26 April 2024 vi. From 2:30pm to 8pm Saturday, 4 May 2024 vii. From 5pm to 10pm Saturday, 25 May 2024 viii. From 5pm to 10pm Friday, 31 May 2024 c. Due to the nature of the competition, the below timings will be unknown until competition results are finalised. Closures will be as those above in a. and b., confined to a 5-hour closure period, in alignment with standard closure time frames, between the times outlined below. i. Between 12pm to 10pm on either 7,8 or 9 June 2024 ii. Between 12pm to 10pm on either 14,15 or 16 June 2024 iii. Between 12pm to 10pm on either 21,22 or 23 June 2024
