C 2. Public Forum - Proposed small community orchard at Remuera Reserve
James Cameron, volunteer coordinator with Te Ringatini at The Donkey, will present to the meeting regarding a proposed project in Remuera Reserve – a small orchard for the community.
The Community Open Forum is a session of up to 15 minutes in total where members of the public and community groups can speak directly to the Waihoro Spreydon-Cashmere-Heathcote Community Board on relevant issues, activities and projects.
To book your presentation at Waihoro Spreydon-Cashmere-Heathcote Community Board Community Open Forum please email Jane Walders – Community Board Advisor, at Jane.Walders@ccc.govt.nz. If there are no speakers in attendance at the start time, or if speaking finishes early, the Board will close the forum. Speaking will generally be limited to five minutes at the discretion of the Chairperson (which allowance should include time to receive questions from the Board).
Presentations of slides or documents are limited to the time allowance; they are to be provided in advance to the Support Officer in electronic form. Material must be suitable to become public. Please note that forums are live streamed and a recording may be retained online.
Note: If you wish to speak on an issue that will be the subject of a report to a formal Board meeting, you may prefer to seek approval to instead make a longer deputation at the start of the relevant meeting; noting there is a general restriction on making repetitious presentations to the Board.
The Community Open Forum is not part of a formal meeting and so standing orders do not apply but speakers are invited to it on the basis that they accept the Chairperson’s directions to avoid presenting on matters subject to legal proceedings, a hearing or current funding application, or that are repetitious, disrespectful or offensive. The number of speaking slots is limited based on the total time reserved
