3.     Our District's Emissions Target - Board Submission

1.   Purpose of Report

1.1       For the Waipuna/Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board’s Submissions Committee to complete a Board submission to the Council on the Our District’s Emissions Target.

 

2.   Staff Recommendations

That the Waipuna/Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board Submissions Committee resolve to:

1.         Complete a Board submission to the Council on its Our District’s Emissions Target.

2.         Note that given the consultation timetable, the Submissions Committee has exercised its delegated authority to complete a submission on behalf of the Waipuna/Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board.

 

3.   Key Points

3.1       The following link to the Council’s Our District’s Emission Target is provided to assist the Submissions Committee in its deliberations:

3.2       The consultation period for submissions concludes on 14 August 2019.

3.3       For its 2016-19 term, the Waipuna/Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board has granted the Submissions Committee the delegated authority to make submissions on behalf of the Board.
