Part C

That the Parking Restrictions Subcommittee:

1.         Approve the installation of the proposed tour coach and shuttle parking areas in general accordance with Attachment A and in accordance with the following staff recommendations and detail provided in Attachments B to J.

Moorhouse Avenue (Attachment B)

2.         Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the north side of Moorhouse Avenue commencing at a point 73 metres west of its intersection with Antigua Street and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 54 metres be revoked.

3.         Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited from 10pm to 6am (the following day) on the north side of Moorhouse Avenue commencing at a point 73 metres west of its intersection with Antigua Street and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 54 metres.

4.         Approve that the parking of vehicles be designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only between 6am and 10pm on the north side of Moorhouse Avenue commencing at a point 73 metres west of its intersection with Antigua Street and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 54 metres.

Durham Street South (Attachment C)

5.         Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the east side of Durham Street South commencing at a point 6 metres south of its intersection with Alcester Street and extending in a southerly direction for a distance of 32 metres be revoked.

6.         Approve that the parking of vehicles be designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the east side of Durham Street South commencing at a point 6 metres south of its intersection with Alcester Street and extending in a southerly direction for a distance of 32 metres.

Colombo Street (Attachment D)

7.         Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the east side of Colombo Street commencing at a point 46 metres north of its intersection with Dundas Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 27 metres be revoked.

8.         Approve that the parking of vehicles be designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the east side of Colombo Street commencing at a point 46 metres north of its intersection with Dundas Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.

 

 

Cashel Street (Attachment E)

9.         Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at its intersection with Cambridge Terrace and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 117 metres be revoked.

10.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at any time on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at its intersection with Cambridge Terrace and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 67 metres.

11.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 5 minutes at all times on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at a point 67 metres west of its intersection with Cambridge Terrace and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 6m.

12.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 30 minutes and designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at a point 73 metres west of its intersection with Cambridge Terrace and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 40 metres

13.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at any time on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at a point 113 metres west of its intersection with Cambridge Terrace and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 4 metres.

Cashel Street (Attachment F)

14.       Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at a point 83 metres east of its intersection with Madras Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 36 metres be revoked.

15.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the north side of Cashel Street commencing at a point 83 metres east of its intersection with Madras Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 36 metres.

Latimer Square West (Attachment G)

16.       Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the east side of Latimer Square West commencing at a point 23 metres north of its intersection with Hereford Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 40 metres be revoked.

17.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the east side of Latimer Square West commencing at a point 23 metres north of its intersection with Hereford Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 40 metres.

Gloucester Street (Attachment H)

18.       Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the south side of Gloucester Street commencing at a point 43 metres west of its intersection with Latimer Square (West) and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 25 metres be revoked.

19.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the south side of Gloucester Street commencing at a point 43 metres west of its intersection with Latimer Square (West) and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 25 metres.

 

Madras Street (Attachment I)

20.       Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the west side of Madras Street commencing at a point 9 metres north of its intersection with Chester Street East and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 30 metres be revoked.

21.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 30 minutes and designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the west side of Madras Street commencing at a point 9 metres north of its intersection with Chester Street East and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 30 metres.

Gloucester Street (Attachment J)

22.       Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the south side of Gloucester Street commencing at a point 13 metres east of its intersection with Montreal Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 28 metres be revoked.

23.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 30 minutes and designated for the parking of buses, coaches and shuttles only on the south side of Gloucester Street commencing at a point 13 metres east of its intersection with Montreal Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 28 metres.

2.         Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 10 minutes (At Any Time) on the west side of Manchester Street commencing at a point 43 metres north of its intersection with Gloucester Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.

1.         Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the north side of Armagh Street between Manchester Street and Madras Street be revoked.

2.         Approve that all parking and stopping restrictions currently located on the south side of Armagh Street between Manchester Street and Madras Street be revoked.

3.         Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the south side of Armagh Street commencing at its intersection with Manchester Street and extending in an easterly direction to its intersection with Madras Street.

4.         Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the north side of Armagh Street commencing at its intersection with Manchester Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 32 metres.

5.         Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 120 minutes and controlled by ‘Pay by Plate’ (or any form of approved payment) (Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm) (Friday, 9am to 8.30pm) (Saturday and Sunday 9am to 6pm) on the North side of Armagh Street commencing at a point 32metres east of its intersection with Manchester Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 31 metres.

10.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the north side of Armagh Street commencing at a point 219 metres east of its intersection with Manchester Street and extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 11 metres to its intersection with Madras Street.

11.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the west side of the entrance to the Margaret Mahy Carpark commencing at its intersection with Armagh Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 19 metres.

12.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to 90 degree angled parking for vehicles displaying approved mobility cards only for maximum period of 120 minutes on the west side of the Margaret Mahy Playground Carpark commencing at a point 19 metres north of its Armagh Street entrance and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

13.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 120 minutes on the west side of the Margaret Mahy Playground Carpark and further resolved as 90 degree angled parking commencing at a point 29 metres north of its Armagh Street entrance and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 28 metres.

14.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the west side of the of the Margaret Mahy Carpark commencing at a point 57 metres north of its intersection with Armagh Street and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 7 metres.

15.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 120 minutes on the west side of the Margaret Mahy Playground Carpark and further resolved as 90 degree angled parking commencing at a point 64 metres north of its Armagh Street entrance and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of 38 metres.

16.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the west and north sides of the of the Margaret Mahy Carpark commencing at a point 102 metres north of its intersection with Armagh Street and extending in a northerly direction following the kerb line  around to the east for a distance of 30 metres.

17.       Approve that the parking of vehicles be restricted to a maximum period of 120 minutes on the north side of the Margaret Mahy Playground Carpark and further resolved as 90 degree angled parking commencing at a point 17 metres west of its Madras Street entrance and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 32 metres.

18.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the north side of the of the Margaret Mahy Carpark exit commencing at its intersection with Madras Street and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 17 metres.

19.       Approve that the stopping of vehicles be prohibited at all times on the south side of the of the Margaret Mahy Carpark exit commencing at its intersection with Madras Street and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 17 metres.
