Apologies for absence were received from Councillor Robbie Brine, Councillor Miriam Morton and Councillor Lisa Bond.  An apology was received from Councillor Celeste Tairekena who was to attend on behalf of Councillor Lisa Bond from Kaikoura District Council but was unable to attend.

4.   Proposed projects for 2017/18

Joint Committee Decision (Staff Recommendation accepted without change)

That the Committee approve the 2017/18 projects as detailed in the report:

1.         Love Food Hate Waste - $45,000

2.         Education Resources - $3,000

3.         WasteMinz Collaborative Projects Fund - $7,500
